Extensive Renovation at Carrington Court Apartments,
Lake Charles, LA

Carrington Court is a residential project designed with an emphasis on spatial efficiency, livability, and cohesive architectural expression. Pillars of Seven approached the project with a focus on translating design intent into a functional layout that supports everyday use while maintaining a refined visual identity. From planning through detailing, the project reflects a careful balance between aesthetic clarity and practical constraints, resulting in a development that integrates seamlessly into its surrounding context.

Our team completed a major renovation of Carrington Court Apartments in Lake Charles, Louisiana, transforming 93 residential units across 81,375 sq ft. Over a four-month timeline, we executed a comprehensive overhaul of mechanical, structural, and aesthetic systems, delivering a fully modernized living environment.

Led by a 60-member team of engineers, architects, project managers, and licensed trades—including electricians, plumbers, HVAC specialists, and metal workers—we managed every phase from permitting through final inspection. The project scope included electrical and plumbing rough-ins and finishes, HVAC installation, insulation, drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, trim, and fixture installations.

Exterior upgrades encompassed siding repair, courtyard painting, new metal staircases and balconies, window replacements, and full exterior lighting across the property. Additionally, over 100 new water boilers were installed, and extensive concrete repairs were performed to ensure long-term structural performance.
